As per research, more than 70% of our food today, even plant-based, is ultra processed. And this can cause immunity, life-style & heart diseases and even cancer in the long run.
So We’re using technology to recapture and reappraise that wisdoms Our ancestors gained about the unique health-supporting and functional benefits of their native plants, to create plant-only solutions with the same functionalities as today’s food additives.
Did you know
what if we could build a unique technology platform that stored all the plant wisdoms we could find, from everywhere in the world, and create a database of plant-only alternatives to all the animal, synthetic and ultra-processed additives the industry currently uses.
And what if then, by using biotech, we validate and quantify the wisdoms... and with some clever machine learning, we could use that data to find even more plants and combinations of plants that can make our food system innately healthy and sustainable?
that technology is Charaka.
A structured database
A repository of the world's gathered ancestral wisdoms of the health and functional benefits of native plants.
With every plant and plant part scientifically validated and their benefits quantified.
clever machine learning
That can analyze hidden & non-linear relationships and make more amazing discoveries.
rolled into one unique global reference point for the future of food on our planet
A technology platform harnessing locally-appropriate ingredients with a global certification of quality
The Charaka 6C mark is an assurance to consumers around the world that wherever they are and whatever they are eating, all additives will have been replaced by natural plant ingredients that conform closely to our 6 principles –
Clean Making the health of our consumers paramount
Climate Positive Keeping the planet at the core of all our decision making process
Circular Creating the minimal amount of waste or pollution
